Why the fee page isn’t the whole story.
A “0.10% fee” on a €1,000 Ethereumorder is one euro. The spread between the reference price and the orderbook levels your order actually consumes can be several times that — and it grows with order size, especially in thin books. A “0% fee” venue can still be the most expensive place to buy ETH once the spread is counted.

Withdrawal adds to the bill.

How we measure this.
We walk each venue’s public live orderbook for the exact order size, add the published base-tier fee, and rank by the one number that can’t lie: the ETH you actually receive. Venues without fresh data are omitted, never invented; venues without a public orderbook are marked “list price · not live”. The Reliability Score shown next to costs is a sourced, dated record — it is display context, never part of the cost ranking.
The ranking is always cost- and data-based, never moved by affiliate relationships: where a link earns a disclosed commission it is labelled, and the commission never changes a number or a position. The full methodology.

Not in the snapshot on this page — it ranks by trading cost only (published fee plus measured spread). The live True-Cost tool has an "include withdrawal" toggle that adds each venue’s published withdrawal fee to the total, which can reshuffle the ranking. Our curated withdrawal dataset covers ETH (native chain, sourced from each venue’s own fee page); venues that publish no fixed fee are excluded from that toggle, never guessed.
